^{Gen 15:1} After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

אַחַר ׀ הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה הָיָה דְבַר־ יְהוָה אֶל־ אַבְרָם בַּמַּחֲזֶה לֵאמֹר אַל־ תִּירָא אַבְרָם אָנֹכִי מָגֵן לָךְ שְׂכָרְךָ הַרְבֵּה מְאֹ

^{Gen 15:13} And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

וַיֹּאמֶר לְאַבְרָם יָדֹעַ תֵּדַע כִּי־ גֵר ׀ יִהְיֶה זַרְעֲךָ בְּאֶרֶץ לֹא לָהֶם וַעֲבָדוּם וְעִנּוּ אֹתָם אַרְבַּע מֵאוֹת שָׁנָ

^{Gen 17:8} And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

וְנָתַתִּי לְךָ וּלְזַרְעֲךָ אַחֲרֶיךָ אֵת ׀ אֶרֶץ מְגֻרֶיךָ אֵת כָּל־ אֶרֶץ כְּנַעַן לַאֲחֻזַּת עוֹלָם וְהָיִיתִי לָהֶם לֵאלֹהִי

^{Gen 17:13} He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.

הִמּוֹל ׀ יִמּוֹל יְלִיד בֵּיתְךָ וּמִקְנַת כַּסְפֶּךָ וְהָיְתָה בְרִיתִי בִּבְשַׂרְכֶם לִבְרִית עוֹלָ

^{Gen 17:14} And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.

וְעָרֵל ׀ זָכָר אֲשֶׁר לֹא־ יִמּוֹל אֶת־ בְּשַׂר עָרְלָתוֹ וְנִכְרְתָה הַנֶּפֶשׁ הַהִוא מֵעַמֶּיהָ אֶת־ בְּרִיתִי הֵפַר ס

^{Gen 17:20} And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.

וּלְיִשְׁמָעֵאל שְׁמַעְתִּיךָ הִנֵּה ׀ בֵּרַכְתִּי אֹתוֹ וְהִפְרֵיתִי אֹתוֹ וְהִרְבֵּיתִי אֹתוֹ בִּמְאֹד מְאֹד שְׁנֵים־ עָשָׂר נְשִׂיאִם יוֹלִיד וּנְתַתִּיו לְגוֹי גָּדוֹ

^{Gen 18:15} Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.

וַתְּכַחֵשׁ שָׂרָה ׀ לֵאמֹר לֹא צָחַקְתִּי כִּי ׀ יָרֵאָה וַיֹּאמֶר ׀ לֹא כִּי צָחָקְתּ

^{Gen 18:15} Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.

וַתְּכַחֵשׁ שָׂרָה ׀ לֵאמֹר לֹא צָחַקְתִּי כִּי ׀ יָרֵאָה וַיֹּאמֶר ׀ לֹא כִּי צָחָקְתּ

^{Gen 18:15} Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.

וַתְּכַחֵשׁ שָׂרָה ׀ לֵאמֹר לֹא צָחַקְתִּי כִּי ׀ יָרֵאָה וַיֹּאמֶר ׀ לֹא כִּי צָחָקְתּ

^{Gen 18:21} I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.

אֵרֲדָה־ נָּא וְאֶרְאֶה הַכְּצַעֲקָתָהּ הַבָּאָה אֵלַי עָשׂוּ ׀ כָּלָה וְאִם־ לֹא אֵדָעָ

^{Gen 18:25} That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

חָלִלָה לְּךָ מֵעֲשֹׂת ׀ כַּדָּבָר הַזֶּה לְהָמִית צַדִּיק עִם־ רָשָׁע וְהָיָה כַצַּדִּיק כָּרָשָׁע חָלִלָה לָּךְ הֲשֹׁפֵט כָּל־ הָאָרֶץ לֹא יַעֲשֶׂה מִשְׁפָּ

^{Gen 19:9} And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.

וַיֹּאמְרוּ ׀ גֶּשׁ־ הָלְאָה וַיֹּאמְרוּ הָאֶחָד בָּא־ לָגוּר וַיִּשְׁפֹּט שָׁפוֹט עַתָּה נָרַע לְךָ מֵהֶם וַיִּפְצְרוּ בָאִישׁ בְּלוֹט מְאֹד וַיִּגְּשׁוּ לִשְׁבֹּר הַדָּלֶ

^{Gen 19:14} And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.

וַיֵּצֵא לוֹט וַיְדַבֵּר ׀ אֶל־ חֲתָנָיו ׀ לֹקְחֵי בְנֹתָיו וַיֹּאמֶר קוּמוּ צְּאוּ מִן־ הַמָּקוֹם הַזֶּה כִּי־ מַשְׁחִית יְהוָה אֶת־ הָעִיר וַיְהִי כִמְצַחֵק בְּעֵינֵי חֲתָנָיו

^{Gen 19:14} And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.

וַיֵּצֵא לוֹט וַיְדַבֵּר ׀ אֶל־ חֲתָנָיו ׀ לֹקְחֵי בְנֹתָיו וַיֹּאמֶר קוּמוּ צְּאוּ מִן־ הַמָּקוֹם הַזֶּה כִּי־ מַשְׁחִית יְהוָה אֶת־ הָעִיר וַיְהִי כִמְצַחֵק בְּעֵינֵי חֲתָנָיו

^{Gen 19:16} And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.

וַיִּתְמַהְמָהּ ׀ וַיַּחֲזִקוּ הָאֲנָשִׁים בְּיָדוֹ וּבְיַד־ אִשְׁתּוֹ וּבְיַד שְׁתֵּי בְנֹתָיו בְּחֶמְלַת יְהוָה עָלָיו וַיֹּצִאֻהוּ וַיַּנִּחֻהוּ מִחוּץ לָעִי

^{Gen 21:14} And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba.

וַיַּשְׁכֵּם אַבְרָהָם ׀ בַּבֹּקֶר וַיִּקַּח־ לֶחֶם וְחֵמַת מַיִם וַיִּתֵּן אֶל־ הָגָר שָׂם עַל־ שִׁכְמָהּ וְאֶת־ הַיֶּלֶד וַיְשַׁלְּחֶהָ וַתֵּלֶךְ וַתֵּתַע בְּמִדְבַּר בְּאֵר שָׁבַ

^{Gen 21:17} And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.

וַיִּשְׁמַע אֱלֹהִים אֶת־ קוֹל הַנַּעַר וַיִּקְרָא מַלְאַךְ אֱלֹהִים ׀ אֶל־ הָגָר מִן־ הַשָּׁמַיִם וַיֹּאמֶר לָהּ מַה־ לָּךְ הָגָר אַל־ תִּירְאִי כִּי־ שָׁמַע אֱלֹהִים אֶל־ קוֹל הַנַּעַר בַּאֲשֶׁר הוּא־ שָׁ

^{Gen 22:11} And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.

וַיִּקְרָא אֵלָיו מַלְאַךְ יְהוָה מִן־ הַשָּׁמַיִם וַיֹּאמֶר אַבְרָהָם ׀ אַבְרָהָם וַיֹּאמֶר הִנֵּנִי

^{Gen 22:12} And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.

וַיֹּאמֶר אַל־ תִּשְׁלַח יָדְךָ אֶל־ הַנַּעַר וְאַל־ תַּעַשׂ לוֹ מְאוּמָּה כִּי ׀ עַתָּה יָדַעְתִּי כִּי־ יְרֵא אֱלֹהִים אַתָּה וְלֹא חָשַׂכְתָּ אֶת־ בִּנְךָ אֶת־ יְחִידְךָ מִמֶּנִּי

^{Gen 22:14} And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.

וַיִּקְרָא אַבְרָהָם שֵׁם־ הַמָּקוֹם הַהוּא יְהוָה ׀ יִרְאֶה אֲשֶׁר יֵאָמֵר הַיּוֹם בְּהַר יְהוָה יֵרָאֶ

^{Gen 23:6} Hear us, my lord: thou art a mighty prince among us: in the choice of our sepulchres bury thy dead; none of us shall withhold from thee his sepulchre, but that thou mayest bury thy dead.

שְׁמָעֵנוּ ׀ אֲדֹנִי נְשִׂיא אֱלֹהִים אַתָּה בְּתוֹכֵנוּ בְּמִבְחַר קְבָרֵינוּ קְבֹר אֶת־ מֵתֶךָ אִישׁ מִמֶּנּוּ אֶת־ קִבְרוֹ לֹא־ יִכְלֶה מִמְּךָ מִקְּבֹר מֵתֶךָ

^{Gen 23:17} And the field of Ephron which was in Machpelah, which was before Mamre, the field, and the cave which was therein, and all the trees that were in the field, that were in all the borders round about, were made sure

וַיָּקָם ׀ שְׂדֵה עֶפְרוֹן אֲשֶׁר בַּמַּכְפֵּלָה אֲשֶׁר לִפְנֵי מַמְרֵא הַשָּׂדֶה וְהַמְּעָרָה אֲשֶׁר־ בּוֹ וְכָל־ הָעֵץ אֲשֶׁר בַּשָּׂדֶה אֲשֶׁר בְּכָל־ גְּבֻלוֹ סָבִי

^{Gen 24:7} The LORD God of heaven, which took me from my father's house, and from the land of my kindred, and which spake unto me, and that sware unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this land; he shall send his angel before thee, and thou shalt take a wife unto my son from thence.

יְהוָה ׀ אֱלֹהֵי הַשָּׁמַיִם אֲשֶׁר לְקָחַנִי מִבֵּית אָבִי וּמֵאֶרֶץ מוֹלַדְתִּי וַאֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר־ לִי וַאֲשֶׁר נִשְׁבַּע־ לִי לֵאמֹר לְזַרְעֲךָ אֶתֵּן אֶת־ הָאָרֶץ הַזֹּאת הוּא יִשְׁלַח מַלְאָכוֹ לְפָנֶיךָ וְלָקַחְתָּ אִשָּׁה לִבְנִי מִשָּׁ

^{Gen 24:12} And he said O LORD God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day, and show kindness unto my master Abraham.

וַיֹּאמַר ׀ יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי אֲדֹנִי אַבְרָהָם הַקְרֵה־ נָא לְפָנַי הַיּוֹם וַעֲשֵׂה־ חֶסֶד עִם אֲדֹנִי אַבְרָהָ

^{Gen 24:30} And it came to pass, when he saw the earring and bracelets upon his sister's hands, and when he heard the words of Rebekah his sister, saying, Thus spake the man unto me; that he came unto the man; and, behold, he stood by the camels at the well.

וַיְהִי ׀ כִּרְאֹת אֶת־ הַנֶּזֶם וְאֶת־ הַצְּמִדִים עַל־ יְדֵי אֲחֹתוֹ וּכְשָׁמְעוֹ אֶת־ דִּבְרֵי רִבְקָה אֲחֹתוֹ לֵאמֹר כֹּה־ דִבֶּר אֵלַי הָאִישׁ וַיָּבֹא אֶל־ הָאִישׁ וְהִנֵּה עֹמֵד עַל־ הַגְּמַלִּים עַל־ הָעָיִ
